In partnership with the World Academy of Art & Science and the United Nations Office of Geneva, YLN has led youth participation across various engagements for the GL-21 Project.
For the 60th Anniversary of the World Academy of Art and Science, the Youth Leadership Network participates with the organization of three panels that focus on how the youth can cooperate with other Civil Society groups and promote the birth of a global network of youth leaders.

View MoreDora Damjanović is a postgraduate student in Global Affairs MSc at King’s College London, where she chose to specialise in contemporary India and Brazil. She got her bachelors degree in Diplomacy and International relations from the Dag Hammarskjold College of International Relations and Diplomacy in Zagreb, Croatia. By the end of the year 2016, she started her collaboration with the World Academy of Art and Science, and in the 2018 she moved to India to work on scientific research paper, that was later published by the academy’s journal “Cadmus”.
Carlo Luciani is a postgraduate student in International Studies at Roma Tre University after doing a Bachelor in German and English literature. He was born in 1993 and has Italian-German citizenship. Carlo’s interests revolve around international relations, international politics and foreign cultures. Therefore, during his studies he participated enthusiastically to the Erasmus program in 2016 and to an internship at the Italian Embassy in Berlin in 2019.
Dina Dragija has a master’s degree in Anthropology of Politics, Violence and Crime from University College London. She got her bachelor’s degree from the Dag Hammarskjold College of International Relations and Diplomacy in Zagreb, Croatia.The Politics, Violence and Crime MSc and International Relations BA Programme provided her with methodological skills that enabled her to collect and analyse cross-cultural and comparative data on international security, violence, crime, diplomacy and their entanglement with local and global politics.
After studying creative writing for three years and having published a few short stories on Italian literary magazines, he got his bachelor degree in Political Science – Cooperation and Development – at Roma Tre University. By the end of 2017 he started collaborating with the World Academy of Art and Science while working as an independent counselor in the field of humanitarian fundraising.
Jodi Cullity has built her work ethic in a variety of roles including strategy consulting in Dubai, advance work for the White House under Michelle Obama, brand management for Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, and intensive Chinese and German language learning. Throughout her work and global friendships, Jodi has developed a passion for international relations, female entrepreneurship, and innovative technology.
After obtaining her PhD in economics in 1990 and her MBA in 1993, she started working as a management consultant focusing on private sector development, government policy and institutional reforms in Ukraine, Georgia and Madagascar. With a strong financial management background, she held positions as CFO for number of international companies. She is one of the founders of Ukrainian Agribusiness Club and CEO of Ukrainian Heritage Foundation.
Suvai Gunasekaran is a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University where she completed her PhD in biomedical engineering. Prior to her graduate studies, Suvai attended Harvard University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as gained experience in social entrepreneurship and international development. Suvai has a strong interest in policy and currently serves as the Vice President of the UN Women Chicago Chapter, a fellow for the Scholars Strategy Network, and a Focal Point Coordinator of the Science Policy Interface for the UN Major Group for Children and Youth.
